A set of four Art Deco armchairs in walnut and leather, made around 1940, showcasing an aesthetic that is both structured and warm, typical of French modernism from the interwar period. The carefully selected walnut creates a fluid structure where the armrests curve in a continuous movement, forming side openings that lighten the silhouette and affirm the geometry characteristic of the style. The seat and backrest, upholstered in new brown leather, offer firm and enveloping comfort. The perimeter highlighted by a regular line of studs adds a touch of character, reminiscent of the precise finishes from the cabinetmaking workshops of the time. The slightly tapered legs extend the design's momentum and anchor each chair in a sober elegance. Presented as a set, these four armchairs form a coherent and rare ensemble, ideal for structuring a living room, office, or reception area with an authentically Art Deco presence. Their balance of geometric rigor, nobility of materials, and comfort makes them pieces capable of engaging with both classic interiors and contemporary decor, where they become focal points of character. Period: 1940. Restored in our cabinetmaking workshop. New leather and upholstery. 374V.
