Pair of important cast iron candlesticks – Neo-Renaissance style

Beautiful and imposing pair of candlesticks in cast iron, featuring a rich Renaissance-inspired decor. Each piece rests on a wide molded square base, adorned with relief rosettes and floral motifs. The upper shaft, particularly detailed, is rhythmically decorated with flutes, grooves, and leaf ornaments. The top features a large circular cup with a fluted edge, designed to hold a candle. It has a beautiful antique patina in beige and verdigris tones, with signs of use and oxidation consistent with its age. Very decorative due to their proportions and presence, these candlesticks can be displayed in an entrance, a chapel, an antique interior, or repurposed as plant holders.
