Charming set of 5 antique dessert plates made of fine earthenware with scalloped edges, likely dating from the late 19th century or the very early 20th century (circa 1890-1910). Each plate is adorned with a hand-painted fruit design, featuring different motifs (plums, grapes, strawberries, apricots…), giving the set an authentic charm. The richly embossed border, inspired by the Rococo style, reflects the meticulous craftsmanship characteristic of fine productions from this era. The set is in very good condition. No cracks, no chips, no restorations. Only very discreet signs of age and slight manufacturing irregularities, perfectly normal for antique pieces. These plates will fit beautifully on an elegant table as well as in a decor styled as a country house, chic countryside, or English cottage.
