Complete set of four lithographs belonging to the first edition of the series "The Hours of the Day" published by ATHENA REPRODUCTIONS LTD • LONDON, 1975, produced under official licence of the work of Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939). These reproductions were made directly from the original works created by Mucha in 1899, preserved within the official legacy of the artist. Athena Reproductions London developed a series of large-format editions in the 1970s aimed at reproducing the artist's most emblematic compositions with the utmost fidelity. The set reproduces the famous series "The Hours of the Day", one of the most representative compositions of Art Nouveau, conceived as an allegory of the passage of time through four female figures representing different moments of the day. The series consists of the four original allegories: * Éveil du Matin - Awakening of the morning. * Éclat du Jour - Brilliance of the day. * Rêverie du Soir - Daydream of the evening. * Repos de la Nuit - Rest of the night. The works belong to the first edition of the official series "The Hours of the Day", published by ATHENA REPRODUCTIONS LTD • LONDON under official licence of the work of Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939). Each print is part of a numbered edition, retaining the original numbering 30/6487, visible on the print. They also maintain the original editorial inscription: "© ATHENA REPRODUCTIONS LTD • LONDON • ALPHONSE MUCHA • PRINTED IN ENGLAND". The prints were produced in England on high-quality satin art paper, using a highly faithful chromatic reproduction process that accurately conveys the gradients, transparencies, and rich colours present in Mucha's original works. The pieces are in exceptional condition. Original 24-kilo cabinetry frames from the 1970s. Triple-level stepped frames, honey tone. Great visual impact of the four allegories.
