Stoneware candle holder Pierre Digan La Borne, 60s/70s

This pyrite stoneware candle holder is signed in hollow with the shell of the great art ceramist Pierre Digan (1941-2016), production of the borne 1960/1970. A piece of character with its raw flared base (in contrast to the enameled blue of the neck and the bobèche) and the detail of the beautifully grooved handle, it will be perfect in a vintage and Scandinavian design interior. Dimensions: height 20cm - base 13cm - width with handle 13cm - external bobèche 6.5cm (for internal candle 5cm).
