Carved walnut cabinet, Rhône Valley, 18th century

Carved walnut armoire, Rhône Valley, 18th century. Straight cornice, richly carved and openwork crosspiece. Opens with two doors (part of the lock is missing, key present) onto a shelf with two drawers and two simple shelves. A third shelf is present (without the supporting battens). Crack in the bottom, signs of normal wear and traces of wood-eating insects. Maximum dimensions: H 230 X 155 X 70 cm.
