Art Nouveau vase by Schäfer & Vater, Jugendstil, green biscuit, circa 1900.

Very pretty little antique vase attributed to the German manufacturer Schäfer & Vater, Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period, around 1900-1910. A particularly elegant piece in matte celadon porcelain biscuit, almost velvety, adorned on each side with a white relief bust of a woman surrounded by stylised plant motifs. Two long side handles emphasise its shape, with highlights of gilding that are now beautifully patinated. Model number impressed under the base: 779F. A very beautiful little Jugendstil piece, delicate and decorative, with a superb contrast between the matte green and the white reliefs. Overall in good condition considering its age. Wear and patina of the gilding on the handles and around the neck, as well as some old marks inside. Please carefully examine the photos which are an integral part of the description.
