Cassina model 780/783 Stacking Tables by Gianfranco Frattini, 1970s

Rare set of four nesting/ stacking tables that rarely come up for sale in this large and low size. This playful design tables each have a circular formica top that is black on one side and white on the other that allow for multiple set up possibilities as they can be adapted to any interior design. The design can be seen on Frattini's website. The larger and lower scale of this set compared to the higher narrower versions gives the design more of a 1970s lounge feel to the design. The lowest table measures 19.5cm high and the highest 34cm high. In very good condition with the wooden frames having been professionally refinished. The tops have minimal superficial wear and tear commensurate with their age.
