Bronze sculpture paperweight signed Roger Bezombes, 1971

Bronze sculpture paperweight, created by Roger Bezombes (1913-1994), in the shape of a star with on one side: "May this new year star guide joy to you" and on the other side: "Joy" written several times. Sculpture signed rb (Roger Bezombes' initials) on one branch and BR (for bronze) on the other. Star produced by the Monnaie de Paris in 1971. Bronze in very good condition, with two patinas: gilt bronze and copper bronze. Maximum diameter: 11.5 cm.
