The shaft features several rings and bands in aged brass, as well as a brass plaque engraved in cursive with the inscription 'Royal Adélaïde 233', suggesting a hotel or maritime origin. The wood, likely beech or walnut, shows signs of woodworm typical of early 20th-century antique pieces. The patinated brass socket is equipped with a side rotary switch, characteristic of electrical installations from that era. The cylindrical lampshade in natural beige linen with a black edge is more recent and likely replaces the original shade. Wear and patina consistent with the age of the piece.
