Antique column lamp in marble and gilded metal

Beautiful and large lamp from the 1960s, taking the shape of an antique column for a classic touch in your interior. The column is made of gilded metal, patinated in places to highlight the mouldings, flutes, and chiselled friezes. It is set on a beautiful black marble base with white veining, ensuring stability due to its weight. The base is fitted with four small rubber pads. The socket is designed for a bayonet bulb. I have tested the lamp; it works, and although the electrification is not recent, it is perfectly safe. In my opinion, the lampshade needs to be redone: structurally in good condition but with one slightly bent inner arm and, above all, stains on the fabric. It can serve as a base for creating a new lampshade to your taste (if you do not wish to keep it, I can exclude it from the package and adjust the dimensions and price accordingly; let’s discuss this before ordering). I will then give it to a friend who makes lampshades, who will find it a new life one day. I can also provide you with her contact details if you wish to entrust her with the creation of a new lampshade. The lamp base measures 43 cm in height (including the pads at the bottom and the socket at the top), the base is a square of 12 cm in width, and the column measures approximately 4 cm in diameter. The lampshade measures 36.5 cm at its widest diameter and 31 cm in height. The total height of the lamp with the lampshade is 71 cm.
