This vintage handmade Brazilian cabinet in Cumaru wood was crafted in the 1960s by Raimondo da Silva, a local carpenter in Manaus. It was commissioned by the German captain Von Pape. Many pieces were made by da Silva, including this cabinet, another larger cabinet, and a lamp. The cabinet was shipped along with more furniture to Hamburg in the late sixties. This Brazilian object is in very good condition.
