Dismantled round shelf

Round Chinese shelf in natural acacia finish. The shelf features a patina that highlights the natural grain of the wood. The traditional mortise and tenon assembly ensures the rigidity of the whole without visible nails. This deconstructed rhythm creates a play of solids and voids that allows light to pass through while energising the display of objects. The design of this rounded structure shelf, made from two half-moons, is particularly time-consuming to produce, and the ancestral techniques - mortise and tenon - are applied with care. Dimensions: W180 X H180 X D28 cm.
