Small water butter dish in artisanal glazed stoneware, in the spirit of the productions from Ratilly and the workshops of Puisaye from the 1950s to 1970s. The piece combines a warm brown stoneware left unglazed with a lightly satin-finished speckled grey glaze, featuring a lovely collar and circular relief typical of hand-turned workshops. Even without the famous owl stamp, all the aesthetic codes of the Puisaye workshops are present: dense turning, hues, nuanced glaze, and a very authentic presence. In good vintage condition, with some micro-irregularities and small spots in the glaze due to artisanal firing (see photos). Height 8 cm, height without lid 6 cm, diameter at the widest point 9 cm, for the butter compartment: height 3.5 cm, diameter 5 cm, capable of holding between 50 and 70 grams of butter. A piece that is both useful and decorative, perfect for a breakfast table or in a contemporary country kitchen.
