Water butter dish in artisanal stoneware, featuring beautiful natural shades of cream beige, rosy brown, and terracotta. The piece is entirely thrown, with a clear speckled glaze animated by firing variations and reddish-brown edges that highlight its shapes. The throwing marks remain visible on the inside. The part intended to hold the butter is left unglazed on the outside, revealing the reddish-brown clay and creating a lovely contrast with the cream glaze of the body. An unsigned artisanal piece, with no indication of manufacture or provenance. In excellent vintage condition, with a few small irregularities in the glaze and firing typical of handmade production (see photos). Total height 12 cm, height of the water-holding part 10 cm, diameter 12.5 cm, height of the butter-holding part 5.5 cm, diameter 8.5 cm. Estimated capacity: approximately 250 g of butter. A raw and mineral stoneware whose natural tones seem made for today's kitchens.
