The original Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman set was brought into the 21st century in 2006 when Herman Miller introduced this premium leather all black version! With its premium black leather on black wood, this version really evokes the ‘special edition’ label with its very stylish, sleek finish. The original Eames Lounge Chair was introduced in the mid-1950s and it has since seen constant production since its origin. This remarkable and remarkably comfortable lounge chair was a more premium option offered by Herman Miller but, thanks to its ergonomic and inspiring design, the chair quickly became popular. Herman Miller introduced this version alongside an all-white variant, sporting white leather on white oak wood with the metal base finished in stainless steel. The leather is still supple but taut and the wood is not pitted or scratched. The sticker on the underside indicates it is a newer example of this iconic lounge chair.
