Vintage Cheese Tray by Secla, 1960s

This cheese server/ tray was designed and produced by Secla, in Portugal, during the 1960's. This piece is made up of an hexagonal wooden base where a brown ceramic dome with beautiful decorations and wooden handle, is set. The entire piece is in original and good vintage condition, only with a small crack inside. The Secla factory was founded in Caldas da Rainha in 1947 (ended in 2008) SECLA, Sociedade de Exportação e Cerâmica SA. Was a Portuguese manufacturing company which, based in Caldas da Rainha, is one of the main exporters of earthenware. SECLA's products were exported to several countries around the world, in particular to the USA, England, Germany and France. In addition to tableware, kitchenware and oven (ovenware), it also produced decorative tableware such as vases and jars, among other references. Dimensions: Width: 22 cm. Depth: 22 cm. Height: 16 cm.
