Classic Art Deco desk made in the Netherlands, 1930s. This desk is made from oak veneered surfaces and solid oak connections. It has a solid calamander edge band around the desk top, giving it an imposing look. The doors and drawer are veneered in an expressive calamander, and the keyholes are finished with a striking bone inlay. The desk is in excellent condition. There are a few missing veneer chips on the drawer and the right-hand door. Other than that, there are a few small dents and scratches that are appropriate for its age.
