Wooden chair with rush seating, France 1950. Wooden structure in a lovely bottle green, beautifully patinated. Seat made of hand-woven rush. Particularly meticulous carpentry work: uprights extended above the backrest, upper crossbar recessed, visible joints, and backrest secured by a half-lap joint with a slight offset. A design that is both technical and elegant. Chair in very good condition for its age and use.
