A handled soliflore vase, or small jug, in Art Nouveau style, made of pewter, decorated with large flowers. Signed Petiz for Jean-Maurice Petizon. Marked "Pewter guaranteed pure" on the reverse. Small chips of material. Period: around 1900. Dimensions: height 20.5 cm, width 9.5 cm, weight 1 kg. Ref adequantik 2110837. Jean-Maurice Petizon (1855-1922), French sculptor and founder. His pewter works are listed in reference books of the art market, such as "Pewters 1900: 200 Sculptors of the Belle Époque" by Philippe Dahhan (Les Éditions de l'Amateur, 2000).
