Faux bamboo stool made of beech wood

French 'faux bamboo' stool made of beech wood. As the name suggests, faux bamboo means fake bamboo. Around 1900, this way of making furniture and products was extremely popular. Bamboo was, of course, an unknown product at that time and did not occur in Europe. That is why furniture makers imitated it. This stool was probably originally a child's chair with a backrest, which was later modified. We have cleaned this stool and provided it with a layer of wax. It can be used well as a side table or plant stand.
