Wabi Sabi tripod stool with pearl feet bobbin

If you love the Wabi Sabi spirit, using an object while proudly showcasing its previous lives and giving it a new life... Then this stool might appeal to you. I found it mostly covered in a grey paint that made it quite sad and obscured its lovely shapes, especially its turned wooden legs. I initially thought about removing all the paint (hand sanding, no electricity, no chemicals, just elbow grease), but halfway through, once the chipped paint was removed, I found it had a nice look, the look of one who does not hide its many lives, one that says, "look at my lovely shapes, see all I have been through to be here before you." So I decided to stop there (maybe I will change my mind in a while, who knows... So if you like it this way, don't hesitate to order it), and I just lightly polished it with a bit of paraffin oil. It dates from the 60s or 70s. Aside from the remnants of paint, it is in very good overall condition, solid, stable, and the legs are well inserted into the seat. It measures 35 cm in height, the seat has a diameter of 25 cm, 3 cm in thickness, and the footprint forms a triangle of about 33 cm on each side.
