This red office chair model 3475 Eames Time Life Executive Lobby Chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, was produced in the 2010s. This classic Mid-Century Modern office chair is upholstered in Maharam Prone leather in the Mantra colour, a stunning deep and intense shade of red. Its comfortable and streamlined ergonomic design features thick, plush cushions, a 360-degree swivel seat, adjustable height, and a reclining backrest. The polished aluminium five-star base is equipped with glides. Please note that the glides can also be removed to install Herman Miller casters. An iconic and collectible office chair, ideal for both home and office use. Eames Office Herman Miller logo plaque is present under the seat. Adapted from the famous "Lobby Chairs" commissioned for the Time Life building in New York, the release of the Time Life Lounge Chair in 1960 made this chair accessible to a wider audience, in homes, offices, conference rooms, and reception areas across the United States and internationally. The model 3475, introduced later in the 1960s, retains the width, relaxed comfort, and swivel function of the model 675, while adding height adjustment and reclining functionality. Condition.
