Austrian side table by Max Kment

An amazing Austrian side table or coffee table from the mid-century, designed by the Austrian architect Max Kment and made by his kunstgewerbliche Werkstätte in Vienna in the early 1950s. The table consists of a beech wood frame partially wrapped in cord, four conically tapering legs, and a glass top, and is in beautiful original vintage condition. Its Japanese-inspired shape is an outstanding and practical highlight for any Mid-Century Modern interior.
