Collection of 21 modular brass candle holders — Colseth, Norway, circa 1960–70

Large collection of 21 cylindrical brass candle holders by Colseth, Norway, produced in a range of graduated heights. Reduced to an exceptionally simple tubular form, the individual pieces can be arranged freely, transforming the group into an architectural composition reminiscent of a small abstract skyline. The polished brass retains natural oxidation, scratches, and variations accumulated through use, giving each cylinder a subtly different surface and tone. Norway, circa 1960–70.21 pieces. Approximate heights from 4 to 25 cm. One measured example: Ø 7 × H 4 cm.
