Bubble glass soliflore vase Biot

Long-necked bottle vase in bubble glass, Biot glassware. France, circa 1970. Spherical, bulging body topped with a slender neck encircled by a twisted relief glass ring. Blown glass in a light olive green hue, abundantly filled with trapped air bubbles and featuring fine helical striations on the neck, emblematic of the artisanal craftsmanship of Provençal glassmaking. Silhouetted and decorative, a typical piece from Biot's mid-20th-century production. Height: 37 cm. Diameter: 16 cm. Overall in good condition.
