A rare and sculptural ceramic jug vase designed by Roberto Rigon for Bertoncello Ceramiche, Italy, circa 1960s. This signed piece features the "RR" monogram and item code 8/1, along with the original Italy production stamp. Influenced by Neolithic forms and mid-century organicist design, the vase combines primitive sensibility with modernist aesthetics. Its sinuous curves and natural tones make it both a functional vessel and a sculptural object. Handmade in Italy, it is in excellent condition with two professionally restored chips on the mouth and minor base unevenness consistent with age. Dimensions: Height 30 cm (11.8 in), Diameter 20 cm (7.9 in). Bertoncello Ceramiche, established in 1956 in Schiavon, Vicenza, became renowned for sculptural ceramic forms and experimental glazes. Production ceased in 1999, making original pieces like this highly sought after.
