Mid-Century Ceramic Jug Vase by Roberto Rigon for Bertoncello, Signed, 1960s

A rare and sculptural ceramic jug vase designed by Roberto Rigon for Bertoncello Ceramiche, Italy, circa 1960s. This signed piece features the "RR" monogram and item code 8/1, along with the original Italy production stamp. Influenced by Neolithic forms and mid-century organicist design, the vase combines primitive sensibility with modernist aesthetics. Its sinuous curves and natural tones make it both a functional vessel and a sculptural object. Handmade in Italy, it is in excellent condition with two professionally restored chips on the mouth and minor base unevenness consistent with age. Dimensions: Height 30 cm (11.8 in), Diameter 20 cm (7.9 in). Bertoncello Ceramiche, established in 1956 in Schiavon, Vicenza, became renowned for sculptural ceramic forms and experimental glazes.
