Hartmann travel trunk

Dimensions 105x55x55. Vintage HARTMANN travel trunk/wardrobe, arrived from America in Alsace. A very beautiful antique piece made of riveted metal with its original blue interior in superb condition. Complete trunk with wardrobe, hangers, drawers, storage, and original keys. All rivets are present and intact, with no missing or popped rivets. The side leather handles are impeccable. The top handles have been replaced with ropes. The exterior has been repainted. The interior remains in its original colour, still with the original papers and fabrics in the drawers. The drawers are clean. The opening/extension system at the top works perfectly, with smooth opening and closing. The main lock is currently disengaged, but the mechanism seems to be present and the key still turns inside. A repair/restoration is likely needed. The interior metal/chromed parts show normal signs of age-related corrosion, without excess. Very good overall condition for its age. Can also be used as a wardrobe or decorative storage in a chic interior, "Parisian boudoir" or vintage style.
