Midcentury dark navy blue Italian lounge chair by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, 1950s

Stunning model P40 adjustable lounge chair in dark navy blu by renowned Italian designer Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno designed in 1955. This chair in a great vintage condition with its original upholstery still in great condition with only the tiniest of imperfections and the gold brass has gotten a lovely patina over time. The rubber arms have some light craquelé but no real flaws. As can be seen in the pics the chair can be adjusted into any position to ones liking even transferring it into a sort of daybed, the armrest are also detachable and the footrest comes with an extension if needed. This design icon can be found in places such as the MOMA and centre Pompidou.
