Antique bentwood bistro chair model 18 Thonet

An interwar design icon, this curved wooden chair no. 18 by Thonet features a double-curved backrest and a beautiful brown wabi-sabi patina. Stable, sturdy, and lightweight, the caning has been completely restored. Likely the work of Mundus or Fischel. Period: late 19th to early 20th century.
