Elegant vintage vase made of Murano glass, crafted using the iconic rostrato technique, characterised by its finely applied regular spikes across the entire surface. Its very slightly amber yellow hue, almost crystalline, beautifully captures light and highlights the sculptural relief of the decoration. The great regularity of the spikes indicates a production from the mid-20th century, most likely the 1960s, a period during which Murano glassmakers revisited traditional techniques in a refined and structured modernist spirit. Presence of numerous bubbles, a testament to artisanal craftsmanship. Some traces of limescale on the interior (invisible from the outside). A slightly blunt spike at the bottom of the vase. The complexity of the vase's structure makes this defect visually almost invisible. Height 19.5cm. Diameter 12.5cm. Weight 1.440kg.
