Tulip or pressed moulded glass lampshade, with a geometric relief design formed of multiple pyramid facets. The shape evokes a small hot air balloon or a stylised grenade: a narrow base, a wide shoulder, then a slight narrowing at the neck. The very dense relief strongly captures light and projects particularly graphic prismatic reflections once illuminated. This is typical of modernist European productions from the 60s/70s, in the spirit of decorative glassworks from Limburg, Doria, or high-end French series productions of the period. No signature noted. The glass alternates between smooth areas and crystal-cut reliefs, with a regular structure that is almost architectural. A piece that works well in both a seventies interior and a more contemporary minimalist decor. Sold with a brass E14 socket. Wiring not included. Dimensions: Height: 12.5 cm Maximum diameter: 13.5 cm Base diameter: 8.5 cm Socket: E14 Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks observed. Light normal wear related to use and assembly. Can be used as: — pendant — portable lamp — wall light — small accent lamp. The light passes through this glass like in a disco ball that has secretly read Bauhaus. €48.
