Geometric lampshade in frosted and transparent glass

Pressed moulded glass lampshade combining two material treatments: a satin frosted glass on the top and bottom parts, and a transparent glass in the centre. The decoration consists of a regular succession of geometric facets in the shape of diamonds, rhombuses, and pyramids. These reliefs capture light from different angles and create a visual effect that changes with the lighting. The central transparent band acts as a luminous transition zone between the two frosted parts. Once lit, the whole produces a soft light while highlighting the depth of the pattern. The slightly hourglass shape and repetitive geometry evoke the decorative design of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Sold with its E27 socket and wire clamp. Wiring not provided. Dating: 1970s-1980s.
