Domed mustard-yellow lacquered metal body with white concentric diffuser. “Bumling” model by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan, 1960s. “Bumling” model designed by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan at the end of the 1960s, this pendant lamp reflects the essential language of Scandinavian lighting design from the period. The mustard-yellow lacquered metal body features the characteristic flared bell shape, combined with a white concentric lower diffuser in plastic, designed to distribute light evenly and reduce glare. Its compact proportions and soft geometry recall the Nordic research on domestic light quality, a central element in Ateljé Lyktan production. Anders Pehrson helped define a recognizable modernist aesthetic through pure volumes, bold colors and functional lighting solutions. Good conditions. It may show signs of age.
