Old Burmese bowl in lacque, originally rice box and condiments

Old burmese shopping box with four tiered compartments used to store meals: rice, fish or meat, vegetables and condiments in the last. Natural lac lac lacing deposited in multiple layers on a bamboo frame, the last of which was polished by hand with a pebble to give it a deep gloss. The inside of the bowl and cups is lacquered in red, also a natural product. Old object (60s or before) used and bearing the traces of this use, including the main box and one of the cups that show cracks due to the heat of the foods they contained. The box is very strong, bamboo and lacque being rot-proof and extremely durable materials. It can be used as storage for all kinds of objects, but I would exclude food products.
