Vintage Writing Desk in Neo-Rococo Forms, 1950s

This vintage writing desk, crafted entirely of oak, originates from the 1950s. Its design features two spacious drawers and a desktop that opens at an angle. The piece stands on tall legs, with cabriole legs at the front and straight legs at the back. Inside, the desk is divided into compartments with four small drawers, two on each side. The desktop flap and drawer fronts are decorated with semi-relief Neorococo motifs. Brass handles and keyholes, finished with a patina, complement the refined aesthetic. Both the desktop and drawers are lockable, with a functional key included. The desk has been fully restored, with its surface refinished and waxed, ensuring it is in excellent condition.
