Gemini candlestick by Peter Karpf for Lundtofte from 1965 in brushed stainless steel with a minimalist design for 2 thin candles, small model. Peter Karpf designed his Gemini candlesticks in 1965, and it is said that he created them from steel tubes originally intended for the manufacture of a chair. In the late 1960s, they were showcased at the International Furniture Fair in Earls Court as part of the Danish Home exhibition, designed by Kirsten Bjerregaard, editor of Design from Scandinavia, on behalf of the Danish Association of Furniture Manufacturers. This GEMINI model is back in production today by Lassen Tableware, but here we offer you the original version from 1965.
