A lovely pair of armchairs made from solid Pomeranian pine, with cushions covered in a textured wool blend fabric featuring fine vertical stripes in a muted pink shade. The fabric adds a refined yet warm character, highlighting the sculptural wooden frames. Designed by Hans Jørgen Frydendal for Christian IV. Made in Denmark, 1970s. Showcasing excellent craftsmanship, these armchairs are perfectly suited to a variety of interiors — Mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Classic, or even Art Deco. A beautiful brutalist piece, ideal for modern interiors. The warm colour and natural patina of the pine harmonise perfectly with the minimalist Scandinavian lifestyle. True to the principles of Scandinavian design, the armchairs combine functionality and beauty, characterised by clean lines, tactile materials, and understated elegance.
