Manon collot (1903-1962) large bouquet of flowers oil on canvas signed lower right “man collot” 1930s-40s. Beautiful format, very decorative: 81 X 60 cm|100 X 79 cm with its montparnasse frame. (the area which appears a little whitened at the top left of the canvas is just a reflection of light when taking photos). - manon collot, signing man collot born in bellegarde-en-forez (loire) in 1903, died in paris in 1962. French painter, engraver, illustrator. Wife of andré collot (1897-1976), their workshop at 1 rue delambre (xiv) in paris. Salon d'automne, salon of independent artists, salon of women painters and sculptors. In 2015-2016, the exhibition "the andré and man collot collection" was held at the almeria art museum (spain). On contemporary french engraving", retrospective of seventy graphic works (engravings, lithographs, monotypes...), drawings and paintings by the two artists.
