Still life by Maurice Merger from 1957

Beautiful oil on panel signed maurice merger lower left and dated 1957. Maurice merger is a painter born in 1904 and referenced on the sites of the art market. Still life depicting a bouquet of queen-daisies in a vase. An old label is affixed to the back of the painting. The typical frame of the 50s is painted wood. Note some paint jumps to the right of the frame (see photos). The paint is in good condition. Dimensions (without frame): 37.5 cm X 46 cm. Dimensions (with frame): 53.5 cm X 62 cm. Frame thickness: about 7cm. Weight: 2.6 kg. Very neat shipment.
