Elegant library in flamed mahogany and mahogany veneer in Regency style. Decorated with inlays of precious woods such as rosewood and lemonwood. Late 19th century. This library stands out for its elegant lines and warm patina. In the upper part, it features 4 open shelves with rounded edges, topped with a "Gendarme Hat" pediment adorned with fine fluted decorations of precious wood. The shelves are removable and repositionable according to your tastes and needs. In the lower part, there is a lockable door (key present and functional). The door is decorated with a superb oval medallion in rosewood veneer highlighting the flamed mahogany. Inside, there is one shelf. Very good overall condition. Ideal for displaying books, art objects, or porcelain. It can be secured with a hook attached to the top. Please note slight lifting of the marquetry, see photo.
