Oak table decorative art 1940s

Oak table, decorative art from the 1940s, France. Stunning oak dining table with a strong, architectural design, typical of French productions from this era in the spirit of brutalism and late Art Deco. The tabletop features a geometric reserve decoration in the centre, framed by a simple belt. The table rests on two very sculptural console legs, with tiered bases and a lovely bracket motif that enhances the decorative presence of the whole.
