Price for lamp including shade and wireless light source - also available with cable upon request. This extraordinary accent lamp was created by upcycling a vintage ceramic vase from West German ceramic production of the 1960s or 1970s. The vase from the renowned ceramic manufacturer, Dümler & Breiden, combines a bright red lava glaze with a green textured middle section and a natural ceramic base. Together with the characteristic handle, it forms a sculptural shape that is already a strong eye-catcher on its own. The vase has been paired with a handmade lampshade made from a decorative cotton fabric. The large-format leaf motif in green, natural, and red tones reflects the colours of the ceramic and provides a lively, natural radiance. The fabric combines printing and embroidery - the red and gold accents are embroidered. When switched on, it creates a warm and atmospheric light image, where the texture of the fabric is particularly highlighted. Conversion to lamp: The original vintage vase was converted to a lamp with particular care. No drilling was done. The construction uses a reversible solution, ensuring that the original ceramic remains undamaged. The interior has been weighted to ensure a stable stand. This also preserves the collector's value of the vase. Technology – wireless & flexible: The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED light source, which can be charged via a USB-C cable. Light duration of up to 12 hours. The light source can be repurchased at any time for around 12 euros. The LED light source is suitable for outdoor use. It can be dimmed using the included remote control – multiple light colours are adjustable. Due to its wireless use, the lamp is particularly well-suited for places without direct power supply, such as on a balcony or terrace.
