Price for lamp including shade and wireless light source. This special accent lamp has been upcycled from an original vase by Marei from the 1960s/70s. Marei – the MAjolikafabrik REInbach (Jean Fuss & Son) – is one of the most renowned manufacturers of West German pottery and is known for its extraordinary glazes and distinctive shapes. What is particularly appealing about this example is the cloud-like glaze in cream, beige, and terracotta tones. The surface almost resembles natural stone or weathered ceramics, giving the vase a calm, organic presence. The slender amphora shape with the two handles further emphasises its sculptural character. The handmade lampshade is covered with a high-quality French canvas fabric. The large leaf motif in warm brown, black, and natural tones creates a beautiful contrast to the vibrant glaze of the vase. When illuminated, it produces a pleasantly warm and homely light. Dimensions: – Total height of the lamp: 38 cm. – Vase: 16 cm high. – Lampshade: 20 × 20 cm. Conversion to lamp. The vase has been carefully converted into a lamp. No drilling has been done, so the original condition of the ceramic and its collector's value remain intact. The construction is fully reversible. Technology – wireless & flexible: The lamp operates with a rechargeable LED light source and is completely cable-free. Charging is via USB-C, with a lighting duration of up to 12 hours. The light source can be purchased again for around 12 euros at any time. The LED light source is suitable for outdoor use. It can be dimmed using the included remote control – multiple light colours are adjustable. Due to its wireless use, the lamp is particularly well-suited for places without direct power supply, such as on a balcony, terrace, or in the garden. A charming unique piece that combines the warm ceramic aesthetic of West German pottery with.
