Superb small glazed stoneware teapot, featuring a remarkable copper red glaze with deep shades of oxblood red, purple, and violet. Cylindrical in shape, it has a recessed lid topped with a small knob and an elegant curved bamboo handle, which contrasts with the richness of the glaze. The decoration reveals subtle drip effects and tonal variations characteristic of copper glazes, which require great mastery of firings in a reducing atmosphere. A piece of great elegance, inspired by the tradition of Japanese teapots and the aesthetics of Far Eastern ceramics. Signed piece, ceramist to be identified. A beautiful collector's item that will appeal to lovers of art stoneware, oxblood glazes, and Japonisme ceramics. Dimensions: Height: 10 cm. Diameter: 12 cm. Length: 15 cm. Condition: very good overall condition. There is a small chip on the lid's knob, not visible when in place. Signature: present, to be identified.
