Superb enameled stoneware teapot, with a generous shape and beautiful proportions, inspired by Japanese ceramic traditions. This piece features a slightly flattened spherical silhouette, with a rounded body, a finely shaped spout, and a fitted lid topped with a small knob. Two side attachments hold an elegant handle made of natural bamboo, providing a warm contrast to the ceramic. Its remarkable glazing combines a deep brown background, with shades of chocolate and violet, with a generously speckled cream-white covering. The layering effects and variations in texture create a particularly lively decor, with beautiful bluish and grayish nuances depending on the light. The contrast between the glossy glaze, the organic shape, and the bamboo handle gives this teapot an aesthetic that is both rustic and refined. The piece evokes the explorations of French ceramists from the second half of the 20th century, particularly those from La Borne and Puisaye, influenced by Japanese traditions and high-temperature stoneware firings. Ceramic artist to be identified. The teapot bears a signature that remains to be deciphered. A beautiful collectible piece, both decorative and representative of the aesthetic of workshop stoneware with Japanese inspiration. Dimensions: Length: 20 cm. Height: 15 cm. Depth: 14 cm. Condition: perfect condition.
