Brass Bamboo brass floor lamp by Ingo Maurer for Design M, Germany 1960s

This impressive model 'Bamboo ML 1 F' floor lamp was designed by Ingo Maurer for his Munich brand Design M. It is made from brass metal with a Bordeaux-red shade and an internal golden reflector. The golden reflector creates the optical illusion of a floating shade above the brass bamboo-shaped pillar. The high-quality piece remains in very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age and use. It is in working order.
