A hand carved wabi sabi Indian antique low tribal chair

A rare antique indian pidha tribal chair, a traditional low stool in a rich, dark teak colour palette, beautifully carved back panel, on typical turned wood legs. This traditional tribal low pidha stool originates from the thar desert in rajasthan. Although the chair has obvious age on its side with expected wear and tear, it is still an absolute stunner. Traditionally, pidhas were used as a low chair in the rajasthan desert, and are still really comfortable as an occasional chair but mainly used as decorative pieces in a wabi sabi setting or bathroom etc.
