Vintage 1970s space globe table lamp

Impressive Globe table lamp from the Space Age era. The large reflective globe is made of clear glass. It is mounted in a ring, connected to the base by three thin rods. The resulting opening at the bottom allows heat to escape from the globe. The socket is covered with a sleeve, matching in shape and colour to the base. The base flares out like a trumpet towards the bottom. A special detail is the reset pedestal of the base, which creates a shadow joint and elevates the base above the respective surface. Additionally, the cable can be routed underneath the light fixture.
