Villeroy & Boch "Glasgow" Cake Plate – 1930s/1950s – Mettlach Factory

It comes from the famous Mettlach factory in Germany, the true cradle of fine earthenware. This model, called "Glasgow", immediately seduces with its red, black and white tartan patterned edge, both graphic and warm, evoking the tablecloths of yesteryear and family teas. It most likely dates from the 1930s to 1950s, as indicated by the stamp on the back (original V&B Mettlach mark, model no. 8202).
